Daniel do Rego Boaventura (19 maggio 1970) is a Brazilian actor and singer, born in the city of Salvador Bahia, he received musical training from an early age and grew up listening to a diverse range of styles, from MPB to classical music. Inspired by a Dire Straits live album he bought at the age of 15 years, has formed the band Vagas Hours, an ensemble that was later invited to participate in the musical Cinema Cantando.
After being discovered by Cia Fernando Guerreiro of Baiana de Patifaria during her stage debut, Daniel Boaventura joined the cast of the musical Zás Trás in 1992. In the same year, he also took part in a production of Bertolt Brecht's “O Casamento do Burguês”.. In the 1993, his personal Pop n’ Jazz won the Caymmi Trophy in the covers category. Keep reading…
